We take pride in sourcing wholesome ingredients, preparing recipes accurately and providing nutritional analysis and ingredient statements through our online menus and nutrition calculator. We are all passionate about serving students. From general manager to front line servers, we work diligently to address students’ specific needs, especially those with food allergies, Celiac disease, or special diet needs.

A team approach led by you, our educated consumer, is the best preparation for a safe school year free of allergic reactions. We want to meet one-on-one with all of our customers who have individual dining needs to ensure that your dining experience is safe, delicious, and social. Simple ServingsSimple Servings provides safe and appetizing food choices for our customers with food allergies, gluten intolerance, or those who prefer simple foods. All foods offered at the Simple Serving station are naturally free of milk, eggs, wheat, soy, shellfish, peanuts, tree nuts and gluten. With Simple Servings, students can comply with food allergy or other dietary concerns without feeling singled out. They won't have to go off campus for their meals or miss out on dining with their friends. The lunch and dinner menu change daily and include varied protein options: fish, beef, pork, chicken and turkey. All side dishes are vegan, containing no milk, eggs, or meat products.

Procedures and training to eliminate cross-contact with gluten and allergen foods are essential. Building on the base of long-standing Sodexo policies on prevention of allergic reactions and customer communications, Simple Servings includes mandatory training on food allergens.

School University is proud to offer MyZone, allergy-safe pantry, and Simple Servings, a allergen-safe, hot food station. 

My Zone

My ZoneMy Zone is our campus “pantry” located at _____________, where food items needed by students with Celiac disease or food allergies are stored and prepared with precautions against cross-contact. This special area is free of tree nut, peanut, and gluten-containing ingredients and products. My Zone gives students the ability to be involved in their own allergen-safe meal preparation. Simple Servings

Simple ServingsSimple Servings is our allergen-safe, dining option for our customers with food allergies, gluten intolerance, or those who prefer plain and simple foods. The Simple Servings station offers food free from common allergens: peanuts, tree nuts, shellfish, wheat, soy, milk products, and eggs.  All foods offered are also free from gluten-containing ingredients. Simple Servings staff members are carefully trained to avoid cross-contact with food allergens. Separate equipment, storage areas, utensils and preparation areas minimize, but do not totally eliminate, the chances of gluten and allergens in our Simple Servings foods.
